Students have yet another reason to rush to class this semester, thanks to the welcome addition of Red Hot Roasters’ second location. Opening on Monday, January 11th, at 901. S. Fourth Street, 40203, on the Spalding University campus (in the Egan Leadership Center, across from the new Presentation Academy building), this expanded new shop holds up to sixty thirsty patrons at a time, and features free WiFi. Perfect to pop by on the way to a lecture—or fuel an intense study break—what more could a caffeine-craving coed ask for?
Sondra Powell, owner/master roaster/barista extraordinaire and her partner Jason Powell also recently partnered with Louisville’s own Stellar Sweets to offer a rotating selection of mouthwatering, baked-fresh- daily muffins, the perfect compliment to her delicious U.S.D.A. Certified Organic coffees. Red Hot Roasters was recently listed on the Unusual Kentucky blog, appeared locally in Louisville Magazine and on the Big World of Food with Chef John Varanese, and has been featured nationally on CNN Money.com, and in Marie Claire magazine
